Sincerely,
The Humans
Today's run was one of the hottest of the year. I fear I will have to start getting up early in the am to avoid the humidity. Along with the weather and the lack of water consumed, I chose a new route that ended up being covered with hills. Surprisingly the run wasn't that bad. I attempted to do a 7:1 ratio, but the hills got in the way.
The gist: I ran 5.35 miles in 58 minutes. Making my avg pace 11:02. I was able to keep my average heart rate down to 169. I only burned 796 calories.
- I want to figure out how to graph my heart rate and mileage to see if it is really getting better. I wonder if the Polar program has that capability.
- Somehow I am still not done peeling from several weeks ago. After each run I seem to be loosing more skin...if it does not stop soon all of my innards will be exposed!
- I have listened to an audio book on my last couple runs to see how that went. Surprisingly I seemed to be able to pay attention to that and block out the pain. I will have to try some more.
wicked...i hate bugs.
